Time for another easy fall recipe. Paula over at is hosting Fabulous Fall Foods...she's posting lost of yummy fall recipes and her readers have posted lots of recipes as well. She's also having a cookbook giveaway, and you can get in on it by posting fall recipes to your blog. Hence...the recipes I've been posting.
So, back to the recipes. This week I'm posting a recipe that my Grandma Barnes makes throughout the year, but always makes me think of Thanksgiving (thanks to the cranberries). This is a very fresh alternative to the shape-of-the-can cranberries:) Give it a try!
Cranberry Salad
20 oz can crushed pineapple
2 C seedless grapes
1 lg box cherry jello
1 1/2 C boiling water
1 can WHOLE cranberries
Mix jello and water. Let the mixture sit for just a few minutes, until it starts to thicken. Then add pineapple, cranberries, and grapes. Chill and serve!
Sounds yummy! I love anything cranberry-ish!
